Become an "Accessibility Advocate"

Last month we met with an officer from the Portland Police Department regarding potential misuse of disabled parking spaces in the neighborhood. We were able to gain insight into an issue not all people realize is a concern. For those of us that are able bodied, we may take our ease of mobility for granted. It was requested that we, as a community be aware of the necessity of these handicap parking options and respect accessibility for those in need. After a little research, we've found some additional online resources for those seeking more information.
